. Renovations to Jacobsen Hall
RAM-TECH was the prime consultant for the complete architectural, structural,
mechanical and electrical engineering design for fire safety and ADA compliance
improvements for this existing 10 story dormitory, which has been converted to
office space. Included code compliance report and renovations including asbestos
abatement, new fire service and sprinkler/standpipe system with fire pump, new
fire alarm system with voice evacuation capabilities, new electric service, new
emergency generator, elevator upgrades and other miscellaneous fire safety
issues including stairwell improvements, egress door modifications and
handicapped toilet rooms, etc.
. Regional Oncology Center Renovation
Currently working on first floor and second floor addition and complete
renovation of the Regional Oncology Center in a phased manner to maintain
medical treatment to patients during construction. Includes new HVAC,
electrical, plumbing and fire protection services. New generator and outdoor
site utility services will also be provided.

Upgrade Electrical Infrastructure – Campus Activities Building
RAM-TECH was the prime consultant for the engineering design for electrical
distribution system improvements for the Campus Activities Building.
. Computer Warehouse Building – Second Floor Alterations
Complete renovation and conversion of second floor storage space into offices
for the Department of Urology and other administrative personnel. Included
complete new HVAC systems, plumbing and fire protection systems, lighting,
power, fire alarm and security systems while other floors above and below remain
occupied and in operation. Also involved rehabilitation to existing elevator to
create a stop at the second floor.
. Gross Anatomy Lab – Weiskotten Hall
Currently under construction is complete renovation of basement floor Gross
Anatomy Lab. Includes all new HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical and
communications systems. Includes state-of-the-art dissecting spaces with
refrigerated coolers and support spaces, offices, etc. Existing 4-story building
will remain operational throughout duration of construction.
Cheyney University, Cheyney,
PA
Provided mechanical and
electrical design to increase campus security and provide open architecture
environmental controls across the campus. All systems will connected together
via the campus’s Ethernet LAN. Security systems include, CCTV, Motion
detection, electric gates. Upgraded the HVAC systems in three buildings,
including the replacement of roof top units, addition of exhaust and makeup air
systems, and replacement on packaged terminal air conditioning units.

. Fuel Dispensing Station
Removal and replacement of an existing underground 2,000 gallon diesel tank at
Service Group Building No. 33. Included double wall suction lines, fire
suppression, leak detection system, fuel monitoring and alarm systems, and fuel
island dispensing pumps.
. Building Rehabilitation - Clark Hall and Higgins Hall
Renovation of two ten-story dormitories/residence halls which include fully
addressable fire alarm systems, modifications to the emergency power systems,
new card control entry system, new ventilation systems, modifications to summer
hot water system and other miscellaneous electrical, plumbing and HVAC work
relating to conversation of dwelling units to apartment type suites.
. Miller Administration Building –First Floor Rehabilitation
Renovation of first floor admissions offices which included asbestos abatement,
new ventilation systems, and modifications to existing plumbing, electrical,
fire alarm and communications systems. New toilet rooms, offices, conference
rooms, admission spaces, reception area and mechanical rooms were provided. The
area was designed with an “up-scale” appearance to attract admission candidates.
. Sperry Learning Resource Center
Currently working on the complete and total renovation of an existing classroom
and lecture hall building including new site utilities, electrical, plumbing and
HVAC systems. The building is to be fully sprinklered and provided with an
emergency generator for standby power.

. Replacement of Main Electrical Feeders
Replacement of the cabling associated with the existing 4,160 volt electrical
distribution system on the College's main Syracuse Campus and provide standby
generator power while the work was taking place.
. Marshall Hall
As the initial stage of a multi-phase project, the existing mechanical and
electrical systems at Marshall Hall were surveyed and assessed as to their
general condition and compliance with codes. A program study was developed.

UNIVERSITY COLLEGE AT PLATTSBURGH, Plattsburgh, NY
Involved complete structural rehabilitation for safety of an exterior pedestrian
walkway, plaza and podium. The project included the design of new high intensity
discharge lighting systems to meet I.E.S lighting recommendations, a heat trace
system for exposed storm drainage systems and the provision of a dry pipe fire
protection system for a storage area.

. Complete mechanical/electrical design relating to the replacement of a 180 ton
screw-type chiller, including modification to an existing cooling tower.

. Fire Safety Improvements
Campus-wide rehabilitation project involving a dozen or more buildings at the
SUNY Oswego campus to improve fire safety violations. The project included both
alterations and the provision of new fire protection systems, fire alarm systems
and HVAC system renovations and additions.
. Rehabilitation of Park Hall
Involved the rehabilitation of a large classroom/auditorium and provision of new
lighting and communications systems and other mechanical/electrical
modifications.
. Site Lighting Improvements
Involved major improvements to the exterior site and security lighting to I.E.S.
recommended lighting levels throughout the campus for increased safety.
. Laker Hall - Replace bleachers/Refinish Floor
RAM-TECH was the prime consultant for the removal of existing bleachers and
patching of existing hardwood flooring and refinishing of hardwood floors.
Included the installation of a new telescoping bleacher system and replacing
existing lighting system, related electrical work, repainting of interior walls,
doors, trim and exposed structure.
. Lakeside Dining Hall Asbestos Removal
RAM-TECH was the prime consultant for asbestos removal in the basement
Mechanical room of Lakeside Dining Hall. Work included removal and replacement
of equipment, ductwork, tanks, etc. to gain access to all areas covered with
spray-on asbestos. All tanks and pipe were insulated.
SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY, Syracuse, NY
. Evaluation of Sound and Illumination Pollution
Performed an intensive study and prepared a detailed sound system and lighting
system analysis and report of the Manley Athletic Complex, as it relates to the
residences along Lancaster Avenue. Neighbors complained of noise and light
pollution to their properties; RAM-TECH identified the sources of problems and
recommendations were made to remedy the situation.
. Modifications and Additions to Link Auditorium
Involved major improvements to existing Auditorium lighting, dimming and audio
visual systems, as well as miscellaneous electrical and HVAC modifications.
. Parking Garage Renovations
Performed a mechanical/electrical obsolescence and code compliance study of the
Brewster/Boland Garage, the Irving Garage, the Booth Garage and the Lawrinson
Garage at Syracuse University. Included in the study was a review of the
standpipe/sprinkler systems, drainage systems, ventilation systems, lighting and
power systems. Conclusions and recommendations, together with opinions of
probable construction cost were arrived at.
Performed a follow-up, more detailed lighting study to verify compliance with
City of Syracuse General Ordinance 29 relative to Security for Parking Garages
which became effective on 8/1/95. Services included a detailed report outlining
our findings, including recommendations and opinion of probable construction
cost. Study was followed up by preparation of construction documents to improve
lighting system sin stairwells of all four garages to City of Syracuse Parking
Garage Ordinance and recommendations of the Illuminating Engineering Society of
North America.
ADIRONDACK COMMUNITY COLLEGE, Glens Falls, NY
Renovation to the Science Building, which is two stories and approximately
22,000 square feet in area. The scope included provision of a chiller, with room
fan coil unit air conditioning system, ventilation air system, and associated
electrical and plumbing systems. Included is the addition of laboratory hoods
and upgrading of laboratory furniture and equipment.
ITHACA COLLEGE, Ithaca, NY
Renovations to mechanical and electrical systems to convert an existing building
to an art department, complete with woodworking and metal shops, print shop,
lithography/silkscreen rooms and sculpture. Included revisions to the heating
and ventilating systems and upgrade of the plumbing and electrical systems.
