RAM-TECH Engineers, P.C. is proud to be part of
a growing community of engineering companies that are dedicated to developing
green buildings through direct project application of green strategies and
commissioning policies.
As part of our design process RAM-TECH Engineers develops owner’s
performance requirements for energy, water and Indoor Environmental Quality and
reviews the basis of design to verify performance requirements have been met.
Together with developing and utilizing a commissioning plan, the fundamental
commissioning task assures and verifies that building elements and systems are
designed, installed and calibrated to operate as intended.
Our experience on numerous NYSERDA Energy Conservation projects, proved us being
environmentally responsible, in employing mechanical and electrical orientated
green design strategies to improve health, economic, and overall environmental
performance.
Major role in our green design process play energy and water flow models that
can refine the picture of cost saving options over the life of the building and
ultimately provide us with a valuable information and bring a comprehensive
sustainability focus to the final design.
Throughout the design process, the issue of cost, and particularly the cost of
green design strategies, is scrutinized judiciously. RAM-TECH uses the value
analysis process to balance cost, function and environmental performance when
developing the project.
Accumulating the LEEDTM Green Credits is a challenging and rewarding process and
for all our clients it starts with the benefit of having the last point in the
checklist:
- Participant of the project team that has successfully completed the
LEEDTM
Accredited Professional exam.
